Japan Epilepsy Research Foundation (JERF) Grant 2016
Application will be accepted from a host researcher at a facility in Japan, for candidates of foreign citizenship studying epilepsy, who can complete their training/research within one year of issuance of the grant, are conversant in Japanese or English and are under 50 years old at the time of application.
Interested candidates should approach a host researcher from the JES Scholarship facilities list, who will apply on the candidate’s behalf if accepted. The grant is open for application until end November 2016.

Although there has been substantial economic development and improvement in health services in recent years in the Asia-Oceanian region, epilepsy remains generally an underrecognized and understudied condition. To help promote research in the region, the Commission on Asian and Oceanian Affairs (CAOA) of the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) appointed the Research Task Force (RTF) to facilitate the development of research priorities for the region.
