| The International League Against Epilepsy’s mission is to ensure that health professionals, patients and their care providers, governments, and the public world-wide have the educational and research resources that are essential in understanding, diagnosing and treating persons with epilepsy. Education is a focal point of ILAE activities, including ILAE Congresses worldwide, distance education and a special task force whose mandate is to assemble a database of educational professionals in epileptology, the ILAE Epilepsy Faculty.
