Activities in 1999
1. Business meeting : monthly commission meetings were held.
2. Educational meeting for epileptic patients and caretakers : once
(half day).
3. Scientific meeting for neurologists and general practitioners
: 3rd annual meeting of the Epileptic society (11/2 days.)
Planning for next year (2000):
1. Education programs for primary school teachers : four one-day
programs were planned, two in Bangkok metropolitan and one each
in the northern and southern provinces.
2. Special mail box : a special mail box will be set up to receive
inquiries from society members and epileptic patients.
3. A 4-monthly "Epilepsy Bulletin" will be published,
starting January-March issue.
4. Reelection of Epilepsy society committee will be carried out
in March.
5. A 2- day 4th annual scientific meeting is scheduled in July and
a 3-day EEG teaching course is included. 6. 4th Educational meeting
for epileptic patents and caretakers is scheduled in March.
