Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is with great sadness that we have learned about the passing of Professor Bryan Kies,
founding member of the Commission of African Affairs of the International League Against
Epilepsy.
Professor Kies' exemplary contributions are countless. The epilepsy community has lost a
tireless and energetic force in the fight against epilepsy.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Professor Kies' family, colleagues and friends around
the world.
