Christina Roseti

Epilepsia is pleased to announce the winner of the 2013 Morris-Coole Epilepsia Prize is Cristina Roseti, for her article, "Fractalkine/CX3CL1 modulates GABAA currents in human temporal lobe epilepsy"(Cristina Roseti, Sergio Fucile, Clotilde Lauro, Katiuscia Martinello, Cristina Bertollini, Vincenzo Esposito, Addolorata Mascia, Myriam Catalano, Eleonora Aronica, Cristina Limatola, Eleonora Palma. Epilepsia 54(10):1834-1844, 2013. Christina received her degree in Pharmacy in 2005 at the University of Padua; then moved to Rome where she received her PhD in Neurophysiology from University of Rome “Sapienza” in 2010, working on the role of adenosine receptor antagonists in the modulation of GABAA receptors in human tissues from patients with temporal lobe epilepsy. Currently, she is working as a post-doc in the group directed by Prof. Eleonora Palma, at Department of Physiology and Pharmacology of University of Rome “Sapienza,” where she is using electrophysiologic techniques.
