The first stage of the election for the next ILAE Executive Committee (2021-2025 term) is the election of the President. Each Chapter will submit one ballot only, voting for one candidate only. Individuals cannot vote, but members of Chapters are encouraged to contact their executive and inform them of their preferred candidate.

The International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) invites applicants and nominations for the position of Editor-in-Chief of its Wikipedia Epilepsy Project. Wikipedia is the most commonly accessed source of health information by professionals and the lay public worldwide. This presents the ILAE with a unique opportunity to convey through Wikipedia the most authoritative and up to date information in epilepsy, with the widest possible penetration and range, and in many languages.

Qualifications and responsibilities and how to apply

This course is clinically-oriented, targeted to specialists at the second and third level of epilepsy care, and is focused on comprehensive aspects of diagnosis and treatment of children and adults with epilepsy. It also includes the basic sciences in clinical epileptology issues and comprehensive care and rehabilitation of patients with epilepsy.

The faculty consists of leading European epileptologists who lecture on the clinically relevant aspects on epileptology and conduct interactive case discussions and/or tutorials on different topics. Working groups are an integral part of the course.

Epilepsy 2020: A vision of the future in epilepsy research is a two-day symposium honoring Professor Jean Gotman and Professor Marilyn Jones-Gotman. With careers spanning five decades at The Neuro, Jean Gotman and Marilyn Jones-Gotman have each, in their field of expertise, contributed tremendously to the advancement of knowledge in epilepsy.
