Annual Meeting on Imaging in Epilepsy, Epilepsy Surgery, Epilepsy Research and Cognitive Neurosciences (AMIE 2020)

Neurotech Meeting, Conference and Fair – 2020 online

14 - 16 September 2020

Structural and functional neuroimaging and methods derived or relying on it continuously gain relevance for clinicians and scientists. They are applied for a multitude of indications from clinical diagnosis and revealing pathomechanisms of diseases via neurosurgical interventions to cognitive neuroscience. Artificial Intelligence solutions open new dimensions in data evaluation and interpretation.

The AMIE is a unique multidisciplinary forum that invites all individuals with an interest in:

  • development,
  • application,
  • processing and
  • interpretation

of neuroimaging. Unlike congresses of thematic societies, the AMIE does not focus on results of examinations and studies but on the underlying technical aspects.

The AMIE is a twin-event with the Summer School on Imaging (SuSIE 2020) which provides clinical lectures and hands-on-workshops on Imaging in Epilepsy, Epilepsy Surgery, Epilepsy Research and Cognitive Neurosciences.

The AMIE 2020 was intended to take place from September 14th to 16th, 2020 in Bochum, Germany. However, due to the current COVID-situation, the AMIE 2020 will be held exclusively online. We offer the following program for you:

AMIE Online Scientific Workshops: all organizers of scientific workshops planned for the 2020 AMIE are currently being invited to run publically accessible video conferences instead. Look at the program to be updated with regards to those workshops that will go online and their respective time slots.

AMIE Sponsored Workshops: Commercial AMIE partners have the option to offer online presentations of their products, either as video conference or as webinar. Look at the program to be updated with regards to those offers and their respective time slots.

AMIE Permanent Virtual Exhibition: From June 2020 till the next AMIE in September 2021 (=15 months), you will find an interactive platform to inform yourself about products of companies working in the fields of:

  • structural and functional neuroimaging
  • EEG and MEG
  • Intracranial EEG recordings
  • neuronavigation including AR and VR
  • minimal invasive (neuro)surgery
  • deep brain stimulation and
  • telemedicine for clinical and scientific purposes.

Enter the AMIE Permanent Virtual Exhibition here.

Sponsors may present webinars via this platform, either live, or via a webinar archive.

In addition, non-commercial research institutes can present themselves

Some technical details of the AMIE Online Scientific Workshops and the AMIE Permanent Virtual Exhibition are still under development. We expect that by June 2020, you will be able to visit the exhibition and to register for the workshops via our registration page. You can drop your e-mail-address there, and we will inform you as soon as registration opens.

Scientists who wish to organize their own Scientific Video Conferences can send suggestions to info@imaging-in-epilepsy.org.

Companies and research groups who wish to present themselves in the AMIE Permanent Virtual Exhibition are invited to contact us via the same address: info@imaging-in-epilepsy.org
