The ILAE Eastern Mediterranean Region announces fellowships and a new Visiting Teacher program

Young Epileptologist Fellowships

The International League Against Epilepsy-Eastern Mediterranean Region (ILAE-EMR) is pleased to announce the availability of fellowships for young epileptologist interested to engage in further training in epilepsy, including internships in epilepsy monitoring units. The timing and duration of fellowships will be determined later in collaboration between the candidate and the accepting center. However, a minimum of two months is required. The amount of support to be used for accommodation and travel cannot exceed 3000 US dollars for the entire fellowship.

Applicants must be 40 years old or younger on the first day of the fellowship and must be practicing in one of the ILAE-Eastern Mediterranean Region countries.

Visiting Teacher Initiative

In this initiative, a volunteer professor / senior/from EMR or outside of this region who is a recognized expert in a certain field, visits a nominated host country in EMR. There will be two Visiting Teachers per year, and the visit length will be up to three days.
