Journal:
„Epilepsy", which is published quarterly and delivered free
of charge to neurologists, psychiatrists, psychologists and general
practitioners involved in treatment of epileptic patients. The journal
focuses on different aspects of seizure disorders, inform about
the „state of the art" considering the diagnosis, treatment
and follow-up patients with epilepsy, and also a great concern is
given to social life problems of such patients (questions about
employment, marriage and child bearing, sport and driving).

Scientific meetings
Two meetings of Macedonian Neurological Society were dedicated
to epilepsy:
- on the diagnosis and genetics of epilepsy disorders
- on the therapeutical approaches in epilepsy.
Activities in relation to the Global Campaign Against Epilepsy
In the 1999 we have started with campaign for public awareness
about epilepsy: a number of educational lectures were given, also
our experts had several presentations on TV and in newspapers. The
reactions and results were positive and quite promising, so we plan
to continue with even more activities in the following Year, expecting
also the support and cooperation with International League Against
Epilepsy.
