Ambassador for Epilepsy Award 2015

Dr Aristea Galanopoulou (USA) is Professor of Neurology and Assoc Professor of Neuroscience, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Since 2003 she has served as a member of many Task Forces and committees, recently playing a leading role in establishing the Joint ILAE/AES/ Translational Research Task Force, which aims to optimize preclinical epilepsy research and therapy discovery. She also has a strong record of trainees, many now have independent careers across the world.
