ILAE now offers an individual international affiliation!

Benefits of Affiliation

  • Reduced registration fees at any one of the following ILAE Congresses:
    • African Epilepsy Congress
    • Asian & Oceanian Epilepsy Congress
    • East Mediterranean Epilepsy Congress
    • European Epilepsy Congress
    • International Epilepsy Congress
    • Latin American Epilepsy Congress
    • North American Epilepsy Congress
    • ILAE Global Courses, where applicable
  • Attendance at General Assembly (as a non-voting member)
  • Eligibility to join an ILAE Section
  • Apply to participate in an ILAE Commission or Task Force

Eligibility Requirements

  • You are a member of the national ILAE chapter in the country where you live or work OR
  • You experience a barrier to membership in a national chapter OR
  • You live or work in a country that does not have an ILAE chapter

Affiliation Fees* per year

  • Low Income Countries: US $20 for those over 40 | US $10 for those under 40
  • Lower Middle-Income Countries: US $40 for those over 40 | US $20 for those under 40
  • Upper Middle-Income Countries: US $60 for those over 40 | US $30 for those under 40
  • High Income Countries: US $100 for those over 40 | US $50 for those under 40
