Welcome! This site has been created to help meet the growing clinical interest in information and resources regarding mental health care to improve Health-Related Quality in Life (HRQOL) and comorbidities in people with epilepsy. The content will be updated and added to over time and aims to deliver information and resources relating to mental health care for people with epilepsy.

The webpage is developed jointly by the ILAE Psychiatry Commission and the Psychology Task Force of the Medical Therapies Commission.

The Psychology Task Force of ILAE’s Medical Therapies Commission has been charged with taking steps to improve global mental health care for people with epilepsy. This study aims to inform the direction and priorities of the Task Force by examining health care providers’ current practical experiences, barriers and unmet needs of addressing psychiatric comorbidities in their epilepsy patients.
