Ambassador for Epilepsy Award 2023

Sallie Baxendale has over three decades experience working on the epilepsy surgery programs in London and Oxford and over 180 publications in this field. She is the current Chair of the International League Against Epilepsy Diagnostic Methods Commission and serves on the Board of Governors for the International Neuropsychological Society (INS). She was awarded the INS Arthur Benton Prize for her outstanding clinical and research contributions to epilepsy in 2018 and in March 2023 received an award from the British Psychological Society for her outstanding contribution to clinical neuropsychology. She is a Course Director of the ILAE Academy Biennial Neuropsychology Summer School, an ongoing initiative which has trained over 140 neuropsychologists from 25 countries in the assessment and treatment of people with epilepsy.
