Marina Trivisano is a Pediatric Neurologist in the Neurology, Epilepsy, and Movement Disorders Unit at Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital, IRCCS, Rome, Italy. Within her role, she diagnoses and treats both common and rare pediatric neurological disorders, primarily characterized by epilepsy. Her main area of expertise lies in epilepsy, with a focus on deep phenotyping of the electro-clinical phenotype of developmental and epileptic encephalopathies due to genetic etiologies.

She received her medical degree from the University of Foggia, Italy, in 2008. Later, she completed her neurology training at the Neurological Institute of the University of Bari, Italy, in 2014, and earned her PhD in Experimental and Regenerative Medicine from the University of Foggia in 2017. Since 2014, she has served as a Consultant Pediatric Neurologist at Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital in Rome.

She has been an Investigator on numerous clinical trials in the field of pediatric epilepsies. She is the author and co-author of more than one hundred articles published in international scientific journals, primarily focusing on pediatric epilepsies, and has contributed to the writing of many book chapters.
