29th Korean Epilepsy Congress

It is with great pleasure that we extend a warm welcome to  the 29th Korean Epilepsy Congress (KEC 2024) in Seoul. We are delighted to have you join us for what promises to be an enriching experience filled with opportunities for learning, idea exchange, and networking.

KEC 2024 will showcase the latest advancements in science, clinical knowledge, and epilepsy education through a variety of engaging sessions including symposia, lectures, and more programming than ever before. These sessions will offer new and exciting insights into pertinent topics in epilepsy care and research. Notably, our special lectures will feature up-to-date discussions, including a session focused on MEG and its implications for epilepsy research.

Furthermore, we are thrilled to announce the concurrent AES-JES joint symposium, where attendees will have the opportunity to explore state-of-the-art advancements in epilepsy medicine. Additionally, a special symposium on "Comprehensive Epilepsy Care" will highlight the advanced systems implemented by prefectural epilepsy sup­port hospitals in Japan and the National Epilepsy Support Center in Korea. Through these discussions, we aim to contribute to the improvement of treatment modalities, psychosocial care, and epilepsy awareness on a national scale.

We take pride in fostering collaboration between epileptologists and surgeons to en­sure the best possible outcomes for patients. Our neurosurgery symposium will cover current methods and procedures related to epilepsy surgery, with a particular focus on SEEG utilization.

We hope that your participation in KEC 2024 will energize and inspire you, providing you with new clinical knowledge, relevant research insights, and valuable profes­sional connections that will contribute to the advancement of epilepsy care.
