Hotel Union in Ljubljana, Slovenia
16 November 2018
Website; epi.pedkl.si
The 1st Slovene Symposium on Childhood Epilepsies will focus on the state of the art medicine related to childhood epilepsies, from basic science to clinical application.
The topics of the Symposium will discuss management of the first seizure, the basic principles of AED therapy and personalised therapy approaches, as well as future therapies of epilepsy. We will also discuss management of refractory epilepsies, from surgical treatment to treatment with cannabidiol. Slovenia has a long tradition in treating children with epilepsy. We have closely collaborated with many epilepsy centers in Europe and United States.
The Symposium is intended for anyone taking care of childhood epilepsy patients, from those with years of experience to those in training.
