Epileptic Disorders Internship Program Leadership - 2024

Epileptic Disorders™ (EPD), the educational e-journal of the ILAE, is excited to announce opportunities for early career physicians with completed fellowship training in epilepsy and/or clinical neurophysiology worldwide to join the EPD team in the following roles: (i) Social Media Editor, (ii) EPD Internship Program Leader, and (iii) Internship Program Assistant Leader, starting July 2024 for a 2-year term.

Selected candidates will also be appointed as Junior Associate Editors for the duration of their term.

Social Media Editor:

• Oversee and curate content created by EPD Interns across various social media platforms.
• Generate ideas for enhancing the visibility and engagement of the program.

EPD Internship Program Leader and Assistant Leader Responsibilities:

• Guide the overall direction of the EPD Internship Program under the mentorship of the Editor-
  in-Chief.
• Recruit and mentor EPD Interns throughout their 6-12 month tenure.
• Develop and implement strategies for the continuous improvement of the program

Eligibility Criteria for All Positions:

• Open to early-career epileptologists or neurophysiologists from any part of the world.
• Applicants must be proficient in English.
