Created 16 youtube videos to give information to the health professional and society about the relation between epilepsy and COVID-19 in Spanish

Organized 3 medical videoconferences with international speakers experts from USA to our members and other health professionals interested in the topics.

Contacted the Mexican Health Secretary to support the ILAE initiatives with the WHO and provided information about the rol of CAMELICE in Mexico.

Challenges:

The COVID-19 pandemic limited the personal interaction with our members and the annual local meeting was canceled.

The pharmaceutical industry drastically reduced its financial support to CAMELICE, however, we still got resources from our members and few pharmaceutical companies.

Future Plans:

In 2021, create an alliance with the National Institute of the Indigenous languages to promote our campaing massively in Mexico and traslate new information to the society in other indigenous languages, launch radio CAMELICE channel, organize other lecture with international experts in epilepsy, update the COVID-19 youtube information with new short videos and organice the virtual annual meeting in august 2021.
