TeleEEG in Ecuador - A remote service diagnosing epilepsy via overseas volunteers logging onto www.teleeeg.org

Help TeleEEG fund low-cost EEG equipment (£1,500 per clinic) to enable remote diagnosis of epilepsy in under-resourced countries. Our latest expedition is to Tena in ECUADOR, the Amazon rainforest hospital will include a satellite service for the Galapagos Islands. Over the last 10 years, TeleEEG has leveraged donations of £125,000 for EEG equipment into over £1.5m worth of direct medical aid in the accurate diagnosis of epilepsy by volunteer interpreters for 20,000 patients using EEG recordings. While patients of all ages attend the 54 clinics we have enabled in 20 countries to date, our median patient age is 14 years old.
