Sloka S. Iyengar, PhD, PMP has been investigating mechanisms underlying seizures and epilepsies as part of her graduate and postgraduate work. As a clinical researcher, she facilitated clinical trials for people with epilepsy. Sloka currently works as an Associate Medical Director at Phase Five Communications in New York City, where she develops educational and promotional content for pharmaceutical companies.
As a science writer, Sloka contributes to many organizations to make neuroscience research more accessible to non-scientists. She is a professional dancer and enjoys swimming!
