Ambassador for Epilepsy Award 2025

Dr Boulenouar Mesraoua is Consultant Neurologist at the Neuroscience Department, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), and Associate Pr of Neurology at Weill Cornell Medical College-Qatar. Following his MD graduation in Algeria, he went for a Residency in Internal Medicine/Neurology at Liege University, Belgium; he had further training at the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases, London, UK, and a fellowship in Epilepsy in Zurich, Switzerland.

He is Director of the Neurology Fellowship Program and Director of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at HMC.

His main objectives are to promote Epilepsy Teaching and Research in the EMR Region.

He is the recipient of two Research Grants, author and co-author of many peer reviewed publications, nine book chapters and Editor of two Books in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurology.

He has been recently honored to receive the 2025 “Ambassador for Epilepsy Award” from the ILAE and the IBE.
