Cosimo Ajmone-Marsan (USA) has been a leading figure in epilepsy research and care for over half a century. His contributions to both clinical and basic science aspects of epilepsy have been monumental. He has trained numerous students from around the world and many of these are now distinguished epileptologists in their own right.
