Hian-Tat ONG
Prof Dr Ong Hian Tat is a paediatric neurologist at the Khoo Teck Puat – National University Children’s Medical Institute, National University Hospital (NUH).
He anchors the Paediatric Neurology Department at National University Hospital and has led the epilepsy service, ketogenic diet and, recently, the vagus nerve stimulator service. He has mentored paediatric neurologists at NUH for many years and is a respected clinician and senior staff member.
He is active in the Singapore Epilepsy Society in clinical meetings and as a long-time treasurer.
He has served as an examiner for the ASEPA EEG exam and lectured locally and at the Asian Oceanian Epilepsy Congresses. He is also active in the Child Neurology Association.
