Fred Andermann Award
The ILAE Fred Andermann Lecture is a recurring feature of the International Epilepsy Congress, held biennially, established in memory of Professor Frederick Andermann (1930–2019), Emeritus Professor at the Montreal Neurological Institute of McGill University.
This distinguished lectureship aims to enrich the scientific programme of the congress through a full-length presentation by a prominent clinical epileptologist. It serves both to honour the enduring legacy of Professor Andermann and to recognize the significant contributions of each selected lecturer to the field of epilepsy.
