The Latin American Summer School on Epilepsy (LASSE) is a regional educational initiative aimed at providing young Latin American clinicians and neuroscientists a unique formative opportunity to improve their understanding of both fundamental and clinical aspects of the epilepsies, with emphasis on translational sciences and a keen eye on regional perspectives. LASSE is supported by the ILAE and the Latin American Academy of Epilepsy (ALADE).
The school is organized as a 1-week on-site intensive course, with lectures, workshops and practical sessions. Full attendance to all activities is mandatory.
Spanish, Portuguese, and English are the official languages at LASSE. Lectures will be given in the speaker’s preferred language.
