2022 Advanced San Servolo Epilepsy Course
Bridging Basic with Clinical Epileptology - 7: Accelerating Translation in Epilepsy Research
San Servolo (Venice), Italy
18 - 29 July 2022
Course Postponed to 2022
The persistence of a critical situation due to the COVID-19 pandemics forced us to again change plans for the San Servolo Course originally scheduled for the end of July 2020. The School and the Course Directors and ISNV Chairs decided to postpone the Bridging Basic with Clinical Epileptology Course to 18-29 July 2022.
We will try to maintain the same faculty and to confirm all students selected and notified for the 2020 Course. We will re-open a call for applicants in Autumn 2021, and will update the list of selected student in February 2022.
Further details will be soon available upon request at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The 7th edition of the Advanced Epilepsy Course Bridging Basic with Clinical Epileptology is addressed to neuroscientists, neurologists and other experts with a documented background in epilepsy research. The main objective is to train attendees to improve the critical competence necessary to design an effective research project/activity in the field of epilepsy. The Course offers lectures, interactive seminars, workshops and breakout sessions; a research project will be developed by student groups on a subject defined and assigned by the Course Directors. The progress of the project will be evaluated daily during group discussions with faculty members. Each research project will be collectively discussed and evaluated during the last day of the Course.
