You are invited to submit an abstract for the CLAE Annual Scientific Meeting, taking place October 2-4, 2026, in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, at the White Oaks Conference Resort.

The deadline for submission is May 11, 2026.

The CLAE Annual Scientific Meeting poster session has traditionally been a program highlight. Participants are encouraged to submit their research covering a broad spectrum of topics including clinical, nursing, neuroimaging, neurophysiology, neuropsychology, and basic science aspects of epilepsy.

Trainee Oral Abstract Presentation

The top four abstracts submitted by a clinical or research trainee (clinical resident, graduate student, or post-doctoral fellow) will be selected for oral presentation.

Abstract Instructions

  • The maximum word count is 250 words, not including title, authors, affiliations, and funding sources.
  • Institutional information should be provided for all authors.
  • Abstracts should be structured in five sections: Title, Rationale, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
  • No figures, tables, or other illustrations can be submitted.
  • Funding sources must be acknowledged at the end of the abstract.
  • Abbreviations and references should be used sparingly.
  • Data already presented at other meetings are eligible for consideration.
  • Study authors/investigators must submit for consideration their own poster. Submissions by a third party will not be accepted.
  • One author/investigator must be present during the poster session (if their submission is accepted) and must have registered for the CLAE meeting.
  • Stand-ins during the poster session will not be accepted.

The CLAE Education Committee will review all abstracts and send decision notifications the week of June 8.
