7th East Mediterranean Epilepsy Congress

Dear colleagues, distinguished guests and friends,

It is with great pleasure and honor that I extend a warm welcome to each of you into our joint meeting of the 7th Eastern Mediterranean Epilepsy Congress (7th EMEC) & The Second Iraqi Epilepsy Conference (2nd IqEC).

The 7th EMEC, taking place in the historic city of Baghdad from 12 - 14 December 2024. This congress marks a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to advance the understanding, treatment, and management of epilepsy in the Eastern Mediterranean region.

Baghdad, a city with a rich cultural heritage and a history of scientific inquiry, provides an inspiring backdrop for our gathering. As we come together in this remarkable location, we are reminded of the timeless pursuit of knowledge and the importance of collaboration in driving medical progress.
