Epilepsy Society of Australia 40th Annual Scientific Meeting

On behalf of the Epilepsy Society of Australia, we are pleased to invite you to the 40th Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held from 4 - 6 November 2026, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Melbourne, Victoria.

Major themes of the 2026 meeting will include Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP), Neurotechnologies, and Epilepsy Surgery. The meeting will also feature satellite symposia, including the ENSIGA nursing symposium, an epilepsy surgery symposium, and the inaugural epilepsy fundamental-translational science symposium.

We are delighted to confirm our international guest speakers: Professor Helen Cross, Professor Samden Lhatoo and Professor Michael Sperling.

The 40th anniversary of the Society’s meeting is expected to attract 250-300 delegates from around Australia and overseas including trainees, nurses, allied health professionals, scientists, technologists and neurologists creating opportunities for professional collaboration and engagement.

The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre is located at the heart of inner city Melbourne, on the banks of the Yarra River. The conference dinner will be held nearby at the Plaza Ballroom, located within Melbourne’s historic Regent Theatre.
