Indo-Egyptian stereotactic epilepsy surgery week

Intended learning outcomes:

Recognise when focal epilepsy needs SEEG rather than direct resection.
Fuse MRI, PET, DTI & VEEG into a testable surgical hypothesis.
Design and implant safe, information-rich SEEG trajectories.
Interpret inter-ictal / ictal depth recordings, perform stimulation mapping and define the epileptogenic zone.
Apply RF ablation for HH and focal lesions; understand when DBS is the optimal alternative.
Manage peri-operative seizure emergencies, DI and raised ICP in the Neuro-ICU.
