ILAE Curriculum Learning Objectives addressed by this course

The course has been designed to introduce and enhance knowledge of the participants from various disciplines involved in epilepsy care and epilepsy surgery. It will be held over three days in both the hospitals and will include morning and afternoon sessions. The morning sessions will comprise of didactic lectures focused on adult and paediatric neuropsychology diagnostics, introduce advanced methods of eloquent cortex brain mapping for surgery decisions and concepts of pre-habilitation and rehabilitation after epilepsy surgery. The afternoon sessions will involve case discussions in small 'break away' groups for interactive learning. In addition, prior to the course days, two online sessions are being planned to introduce the fundamentals of neuropsychology and epilepsy.

The course is to be conducted by an expert international faculty that includes Professor Salie Baxendale, U.K, Professor Mary Lou Smith Canada, Professor Sarah Wilson Australia, Professor Marla Hamberger U.S and Dr Shivani Sharma UK.
