The Shiraz Annual Epilepsy (Semiology-EEG) Course is an intensive, 3-day course designed to instruct in core competencies related to epilepsy classifications and semiology and also electroencephalography of adults and children.

EEG in children and adults (4 Hrs):
- Background Rhythms
- Normal EEG in wakefulness & sleep
- Artifacts
- Normal EEG variants
- Activation Methods
- Epileptiform EEG Abnormalities: interictal
Day 3
- Epileptiform EEG Abnormalities: ictal (1 Hr)
- Report (1 Hr)
- Case presentation and group discussions (2 Hrs)
