Global Neurosurgery Grand Round Series

The upcoming Grand Round aims to explore the role of LMIC civil society in strengthening neurosurgical care delivery by examining the current advocacy capacity. We will focus on two major flagship documents/initiatives, “The Intersectoral Global Action Plan on Epilepsy and other Neurological Disorders” (WHO) and the “Comprehensive Policy Recommendations on Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus in LMICs” (CHYSPR group) and the importance of advocacy in their successful implementation.

We aim to invite a diverse group of people representing the WHO/policy, neurology/neurosurgery, patient, relative and NGO perspective.
