Young Epilepsy Section: YES Kick-Off Workshop

University College London in London, UK

12 - 13 May 2018

Yes, it's YES: Young Epilepsy Section hosts enthusiastic kick-off workshop: Recap of this event

Shape the Next Generation of Epilepsy

Due to overwhelming demand there will be a limit to the overall number of participants. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis with regional quotas to ensure a balanced worldwide representation of workshop attendees. Register as soon as possible and we will confirm your participation at the end of March.

The Young Epilepsy Section (YES) of the ILAE is a world-wide organization of young people in the early stages of a career focused on the care of people with epilepsy, and/or epilepsy research. This includes clinical and basic scientists, nurses, physicians, students, psychologists, pharmacologists, physicists, mathematicians, and other allied health professionals.

We are looking for young people who want to become active members of YES and who want to contribute and actively organise our activities.

Help us shape the next generation of epilesy care and research!

In 2017 the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) established its Young Epilepsy Section (YES) - a subdivision for young people involved in epilepsy care or research. YES is now a growing group of young people enthusiastic about shaping the future of epilepsy.

The YES Kick-Off Workshop in May 2018 is a two-day meeting to establish the basic organisational structure and goals of YES. We invite everyone who wants to become an active YES member to participate in this workshop.

Participation is free. Registration is now closed and selected applicants will be notified by the end of March.

A limited number of travel bursaries will be offered by the ILAE and our sponsors - please see below for further information.
