Conference organizers are now accepting late breaking abstracts for the International Conference on Post-Traumatic Epilepsy in Milan, Italy, on15-18 May 2024. Established and early-stage investigators are encouraged to submit their abstracts for poster presentation at the conference website. Abstracts will be accepted until 30 April 2024.
Greetings! It is our distinct pleasure to invite you to attend the International Conference for Post-Traumatic Epilepsy (IC-PTE): Roadmap to Prevention, to be held in Milan, Italy, on15-18 May 2024. This conference will bring together expertise from the fields of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and epilepsy to develop an action plan to achieve clinical trials aimed at developing preventative therapies and treatments for PTE.
PTE is a debilitating recurrent seizure disorder that develops after TBI. There is a significant need for preventative therapies for PTE that would intervene within the window of epileptogenesis. Conference sessions will highlight the most promising advances in PTE research, including potential biomarkers of PTE, as well as challenges and solutions within preclinical and clinical PTE research. We will proceed with the objective of understanding gaps in knowledge and opportunities for collaborative steps forward.
We are thrilled to hold the IC-PTE in the beautiful city of Milan, Italy, a location that can unite a global group of leading clinical and preclinical researchers, industry experts, early career investigators, and people impacted by PTE. The conference will be held at the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research, which provides easy access to hotels, restaurants, and cultural centers.
We would like to thank our organizing committee, moderators, speakers, and early career investigators, who are sure to make for a lively and engaging program. We also deeply thank our sponsors, without whom this program would not be possible. We are excited to work with you in a meaningful way towards the prevention of PTE. We can’t wait to see you in Milan. Ciao!
