Changes at Epilepsia

On 1 September 2022, Astrid Nehlig will complete an 8-year term as co-Editor-in-Chief of Epilepsia. The ILAE is very grateful to Dr. Nehlig for her dedication and many contributions to the high level and increasing recognition of Epilepsia as the major international journal on epilepsy.

The ILAE announces the appointment of Stéphane Auvin as Deputy Editor of Epilepsia. Stéphane Auvin is Professor of Child Neurology and Epilepsy at Université Paris-Cité, France. He is head of the Rare Epilepsy Center, EpiCARE member, and head of the Child Neurology Department at Robert-Debré University Hospital, Paris. He was appointed in 2021 senior member of ‘Institut Universitaire de France’ (IUF).

Michael Sperling will continue in the role as Editor-in-Chief of Epilepsia. He is Baldwin Keyes Professor of Neurology and Vice Chair for Research at Thomas Jefferson University and Director of the Jefferson Comprehensive Epilepsy Center.
