Summary of Activities:

We organized activities for European Epilepsy Day (February 11, 2019 and February 10, 2020 )

We held two professional meetings:

• During the marking the European Day for Epilepsy 2019 we have held lectures in collaboration with specialist of Gynecology, “ Epilepsy and women”, at the National Institute for Health.
• During the marking the European Day for Epilepsy 2020 we have held lectures in Department of Neurology in Pristina “Psychogenic Non epileptic seizures” .

In 2020 we drafted the National guidelines” Diagnosis and Management of Epilepsy” which has been accepted by the Ministry of Health.

We continued our educational activities through written and audio-visual media.

The Association provides talks with healthcare professionals on epilepsy, also with patients and their families member.

Challenges:

In this period of time (pandemic) we were not able to organize any activity.

Future Plans:

Our plans are to promote epilepsy awareness, and cooperate with all institutions leaded by the Ministry of Health to raise awareness of professionals, patients, families and community in generally regarding epilepsy.
