Summary of Activities:
- During the year 2018, activities of LICOCE have consisted essentially to continue implementation of our chapter and recruitment of new members across the country. Dozens of new members from the South, Center and East of the country have been registered at LICOCE.
- Licoce continued the work of popularizing epilepsy across the country. These activities were intended to publicize the disease in order to recruit potential members of the National Bureau against Epilepsy. This Bureau is called to work with the LICOCE.
- It should also be noted that, under the impetus of LICOCE, several studies on epilepsy have been carried out or are being carried out, by young colleagues from the departments of neurology and psychiatry in different universities of the country.
- The LICOCE plans to organize a joint workshop on epilepsy with the African Regional Commission for IBRO. This will be to help people to exchange on the incidence of tropical diseases in our setting. This workshop is planned for November 2019.
