Summary of Activities:
Lectures about epilepsy for laic community and patients:
- We have continued established activities with regular lectures for relatives of persons with epilepsy, separatedly for parents/relatives of children with newly diagnosed epilepsy, for teachers in schools / kindergartens: 10 lectures in 2018.
- Public events to promote knowledge about epilepsy: performed in two cities (Trbovlje and Murska Sobota)
Symposia for health professionals:
- Epilepsy and neuroradiology, in cooperation with Slovenian Medical Association (SMA) and invited guest Walter van Emde Boas, May 2018,
- Epilepsy in Children and Adolescents, with workshop, in cooperation with Child Neurology Society of SMA, October 2018
Support with accompanying persons referred for presurgical evaluation/epilepsy surgery abroad:
- 23 referrals assisted (some patients needed 2-3- times)
Supporting self-help groups of patients:
- groups active in 5 cities ( Ljubljana, Koper, Nova Gorica, Kranj and Ptuj).

Events related to International Epilepsy Day:

- event for public in city Nova Gorica with cultural conotation

- Active participation in IBE Europe with our representative Ljubica Vrba.
- Financial support for these activities is provided by donations, projects of Humanitary Foundation and Ministry of Health.

Continued activities at least at the level of previous activities. Efforts for funding with projects of Ministry of health.
