  • Part of the team which started the first DM Pediatric Neurology Program in South Asia in 2004 and is heading it since April 2008.
  • She has over 24 years post MD teaching / work experience and has developed Pediatric Neurology in India as a specialty and has received many International and National awards for her efforts in this field. [ including Sheila Wallace Award (First Indian recipient) by International Child Neurology Association (ICNA) 2014; Fellowship Award by Faculty of Medicine, McGill University & ICNA 2010;  Lifetime Achievement Award by National Neurology Chapter of IAP 2014;Four AIIMS Excellence Research Awards 2019,2018,2017,2014; 6th DR I C Verma Excellence in Research Award 2018;Amrut  Mody Unichem Prize-2015 by ICMR; S.
