Inpatient Video EEG monitoring is a common diagnostic test used to evaluate people with poorly controlled epilepsy and exists in many places around the world. Clinical practice and care guidelines are broad and not standardised amongst units. In this webinar, we aim to highlight what nursing care objectives should be addressed for people and their families undergoing videoEEG to ensure the risk associated with and evaluation can be minimised.

- What can be achieved by effective pre-admission review when evaluating people with epilepsy prior to VideoEEG
- Managing the inpatient environment of a people undergoing VideoEEG, how do nursing interventions impact on care outcomes
- How to ensure people are prepared for the potential risks post admission what can happen when people go home
