About Us
The aims of the Commission on Classification and Terminology are:
- To develop the classification of seizure types, epilepsy syndromes, and epilepsy etiologies to reflect the latest scientific advances in the field
- To advance global education in relation to current classification approaches, so that diagnosis of the correct seizure type, syndrome and etiology is optimized.
Note: This Commission was de-activated as of the start of the 2017-2021 term.
