Ce programme consiste à un financement pour inviter un professeur ou à une professeure ou un expert(e) reconnu(e) dans un domaine de l’épileptologie pour présenter dans le service d’accueil :

• Un enseignement spécialisé en épileptologie
• Discussion de cas cliniques spécialisée en épilepsie
• Développement d’une technique ou de compétence spécialisé

Cours d'épileptologie (en français) 

Since the acceptance of its candidacy as a voting member of ILAE at the 34th International Congress of Epilepsy, the Chadian League Against Epilepsy organized for the first time the epilepsy teaching course in French sponsored by ILAE-EMR. The successful course took place in N'Djamena, Chad, from 11 - 12 October 2022.

New EEG Tool to improve EEG reading

The ILAE-EMR region has introduced a new EEG tool for young EMR neurologists and physicians that enlists the help of international EEG experts within the EMR and elsewhere to help improve the interpretation of EEG recordings, and thus, the management of epilepsy and other neurological disorders in the region. North Africa and Middle East Epilepsy Journal (NAMEEJ)

First issue of the NAMEEJ: Journal of the leagues and associations of the East Mediterranean region of the IBE and ILAE. Topics include Unilateral polymicrogyria, Sociocultural dimension of epilepsy in Mali, Epilepsy in the Gambia: Attitudes in the Developing World, as well as a calendar of events. Bi-lingual publication in French and English. Access all issues 

Ketogenic Diet Workshop for Infants with Intractable Epilepsy

The Ketogenic Diet Workshop for Infants with Intractable Epilepsy was held at the annual international conference of Medical City in Baghdad, Iraq. It was the first time that the issue of ketogenic diet in epilepsy field was presented in detail for the physicians of different specialties in Iraq.The lecturers were trained during last year in 2 workshops that were held in Egypt and UAE.
